C-extensions have become standard equipment for orchestral bassists.
My C-Extensions are built from the ground up to fit your specific bass. They are constructed from either Ebony, Ipe, or Blackwood Tek. I carve each finger individually to ensure proper action of the stops. Neoprene pads are used instead of leather for a better grip on the string. The mounting brackets used for the fingers are adjustable, allowing for fine tuning of the extension.
