Custom C-Extensions

C-extensions have become standard equipment for orchestral bassists.

My C-Extensions are built from the ground up to fit your specific bass. They are constructed from either Ebony or Ipe. I carve each finger individually to ensure proper action of the stops. Neoprene pads are used instead of leather for a better grip on the string. The mounting brackets used for the fingers are adjustable, allowing for fine tuning of the extension. My C-extensions are currently $2,800 for a fully chromatic extension. This includes the replacing your E string with the extension string of your choice.
